My name is Elizabeth and I am the person behind Octojelly Crochet Studio.
I am a 37 old mom of one, far to smart for his own good, toddler. I crochet, sew, garden, and bake. I also do some table top gaming and I make the occasional YouTube video.
I learned to crochet as a child, but I didn’t really get into it until about 9 years ago while I was living in Alaska. The majority of what I crochet are small projects, though I do make scarves and on the rare occasion blankets.
I avoid large projects on the basis that I get bored with it easily.
I started this blog with the intention of discussing all manners of things. It has evolved to being one primarily discussing crochet, sewing, some randomness and educational posts having to do with crafting and some semi-related topics. It is still evolving.
